United Hampshire US Reit unveils new retail tenant in New York’s Hudson Valley Plaza

Singaporean real estate investment trust United Hampshire US Reit (UHReit) has announced the grand opening of iconic US sports and culture brand, DICK’S Sporting Goods, as one of its anchor tenants at its Hudson Valley Plaza property in New York.
The newly-opened store spans 53,000 sq ft and will be under a 10-year lease, joining other tenants at Hudson Valley Plaza such as Walmart, PetSmart and Ashley Furniture.
Located in Kingston, Ulster County in New York, Hudson Valley Plaza is a freehold regional retail centre, and is one of UHReit’s largest assets within its portfolio. Comprising a total net lettable area of 428,804 sq ft, it has a committed occupancy rate of 94.9%.

Gerard Yuen, CEO of UHReit, says the opening “will also contribute positively to UHReit’s overall financial performance and contribute to our income resilience."
